Salvation

The Lord convicted him of his sins under the preaching of Dr. John Rawlings. He was later converted
to Christ in his home and led to the Lord by his saintly mother. In 1968 he was baptized by Dr.
Rawlings at Landmark Baptist Temple.

Call to Preach

At the age of 18 after rededicating his life to the Lord, he was troubled for weeks concerning the call
to preach. The conviction turned to compulsion which led to surrender and increased assurance that
the Lord had called him to preach. He was ordained by Bryan Station Baptist Church in Lexington,
Kentucky in 1980.

In December of 1976 he married Janie Ann. Janie is a born again believer who has been a faithful
